What comes to your mind when you hear Happiness Coaching? 
Can happiness be taught or coached about? It is internal or external phenomena?

Happiness Coahing is the new emerging concept that is now globally accepted and acknowledged. Countries are now being rated as per their happiness Index. 

The World Happiness Report is a landmark survey of the state of global happiness. As per the 2018 Happiness Index, India holds the 133th position as per the happiness report published on 14 March 2018 by UN.

Countries across the globe have started evaluating happiness quotient, and a new wave of awareness is gradually inspiring schools, colleges, universities and workplaces as well. Humanity is now acknowledging that we are missing out a crucial and integral part of life. Just think for a moment, today we are learned, educated, wealthier than ever before and yet we are in search of happiness and peace.

What is the way to happiness?
The  definition of happiness is "the state of being happy". The simplest way to happiness is by choosing to be happy.

How to choose happiness in the now?
Constantly thinking about the past is like giving away resources in vain and this generates stress. Similarly, living in the future is building up anxiety. Happiness can only be achieved by being in the present and grounded.
   
Only knowing does not improve the situation.
It requires efforts to unlearn unhealthy ways of thinking, acting and speaking that are unhealthy for mind,body and soul and acquire new consciousness to obtain and maintain new behaviour.
                     
At Happiness Soulutions, we conducted Happiness Coaching that brought together Counselling Skills, Psychological Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Clinical Hypnotherapy to explore and unfold the consciousness to happiness.

The class had a strength of 26 participants and the coaching was provided for 24 days. Firstly, data was collected to record the initial scores of each participant on Self Esteem, Self Image, Resilience , Happiness, Positive Life Orientation  and Mindfulness to access happiness quotient. Later on, different modalities of Counselling Skills, Psychological Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Clinical Hypnotherapy were practiced. 
               
A participant informed that her skin is allergic to rains even on days when she is not in direct contact with rain. A single session in the class with the participant resolved her allergy problems completely. Rain, clouds and visual scenes were her triggers that worked sub-cognitively and brought back cellular memories that were associated with her father's death on a rainy day. The somatic charge was released and this brought back relief to her and now she no more experiences allergies on rainy days.

Another participant who was clinically depressed and was high on depression drugs found his strength to bounce back in life.

There are many more success stories and all begun with a firm belief that one can change the present situation, provided one is ready to work on oneself and with the therapist who is going to facilitate the therapeutic journey.
